EBJC Update Regarding Reopening!

We are happy to share the reopening schedule for in-person services at EBJC.  This schedule and the guidelines for in-person attendance have been approved by our Covid-19 Committee (Drs. Laura Brandspiegel, Rich Drachtman, Lou Friedman, Jules Plafker, Phil Schiffman, and our legal counsel David Libowsky).  I want to express my thanks to this committee for providing guidance to us throughout this difficult year.

Morning minyan on Monday and Thursday mornings at 7:30 am will begin on Monday, May 3rd.

Evening minyan on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings at 8:00 pm will begin on Tuesday May 4th.

Shabbat evening and morning services at 6:00 pm and 9:30 am will begin on the weekend of July 9th and 10th.

We will also hold in-person services on the second day of Shavuot (including Yizkor), Tuesday, May 18th at 9:30 am.

All services will be held in the Sanctuary.

There will be a 100 person limit for Shabbat and Shavuot services.

Preregistration for Shabbat and Shavuot will be required.

Mask wearing will be mandatory, and social distancing will be maintained.

There will be a grab and go Kiddush (prepackaged cookies and bottled water).

People may socialize outside after services, weather permitting.  Remember to use sunscreen.

We strongly urge that only those who have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19 attend services in person, but vaccine cards will not be checked.

All services will continue to be streamed on Zoom for the foreseeable future.

Circumstances, of course, may cause changes in this schedule.

We look forward to a return to a more normal situation at EBJC.
