Road Rally
Road Rally - September 13, 2020
After weeks of planning the EBJC Road Rally, the big day finally arrived, and we had sixty participants divided into 25 cars, lined up and ready to unravel the clues. Some teams began by heading straight to “Sky High Acorns” “With the Fringe on Top” and took their team photo with the bamboo. Others were told not to strike out and to score a home run – and to head to the complex where kids have fun. They had to give a cheer when they discovered when it opened - the month and the year. And thus, our Road Rally participants were off on an afternoon of adventure. Some of the comments were:
“This is just what we needed!”
“We had no idea that East Brunswick had so much to offer!”
“We had such a great time and so many laughs!”
“Let’s make this an annual event!”
“And where was the cute little dog on the bike?”
We all met up in front of Giddy’s for a delicious boxed dinner at the end! We recognized three teams of perfect or near-perfect scores, but undoubtedly there were 25 teams of winners. All who participated were Honorable Menschen! Thanks to everyone who supported this event, and thank you to Meri Pearl, Gloria Jaslow and Sara Ullman who were unable to attend but who sent in donations. Here are some photos for you to enjoy!
