Shabbat Morning Children’s Services
All services meet from 10:45 – 11:45
TOT SHABBAT
A welcoming, comfortable and song-filled Shabbat experience; designed to familiarize everyone with Shabbat rituals and their meaning. This experience is designed for youngsters, up to 5 years old. We invite you to sing, dance, listen to stories, pray and have fun every Shabbat. Afterwards, enjoy youth Kiddush and join the adults in the sanctuary for Adon Olam.
MINI-MINYAN
For children in grades K – 3, this service uses a beautiful new age-appropriate siddur. There is a lot of singing, games, and parading with stuffed Torahs they have taken from the ark.
JR. CONGREGATION
For grades 4 – 6. Engaging Shabbat tfillot, Torah portion analysis, midrashic interpretation and lively singing. Youth Kiddush is followed by joining the rabbi on the bima for Anim Zmirot or Adon Olam.
Each new participant in Anim Zmirot will be congratulated with a special dessert at Kiddush to celebrate their new achievement.
THE MINYANAIRES CLUB
Join Rabbi Finkelstein in the sanctuary, where there is a reserved pew for pre-bar/t mitzvah students. Enjoy the service with the grown-ups and participate in Rabbi Finkelstein's quizzes on the parasha, and win candy for correct answers.
